Countryside Walk: Lyme Park

Why not join us on a walk in the countryside?

Come and join us on a walk through the beautiful Peak District countryside!

Set on a hill-side on western edge of the Peak District, the extensive park offers interesting woodland and moorland walking with splendid views down to Manchester and beyond. We'll take a look at the beautiful Lyme Hall, famously used as 'Pemberley' in the BBC 1985 film of Pride and Prejudice. You need to be fit to walk for about four hours including some uphill sections.

Led by one of the International Society’s hospitality scheme families, we will meet at Disley  train station at 11.15am (Aim to be back at station for 16:24pm train back to Manchester).
