Central Lake District visiting Ambleside and Grasmere
Today, we will visit the bustling tourist town of Ambleside. Nestled on the shore of Lake Windermere, you will take a boat cruise on the Lake, have chance to visit Stock Ghyll Force waterfall and the many attractions the town of Ambleside has to offer. In the afternoon you have the option to visit the pretty village of Grasmere, possibly Cumbria’s most popular village and maybe take a walk round Grasmere Lake or explore the village, home to Dove Cottage and the famous gingerbread shop!
