NEW TRIP: Mid Wales Explorer

Why not join us on a visit to one of the most stunning sights in Wales? The Pontcysyllte viaduct in Llangollen nestled in the "Welsh Lake District"

First stop of the day is Llangollen, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site, visit the spectacular Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, the perfect insta photo, walk the most dramatic part of the Offa’s Dyke path and explore the independent shops in town. Second stop, the Grade 1 listed medieval Chirk Castle, a fortress on the Welsh-English border, time to here to explore the castle and gardens. We then finish the day at Wales’ largest natural lake, Lake Bala.  In the heart of the “Welsh Lake District”, you can walk, hire a boat or laze by the lake taking in the view.  Another opportunity for some stunning photographs! WHERE IS THE DEPARTURE AND WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE DEPARTURE POINT?
The coach pick-up point is at the bus stop on Upper Brook Street between Brunswick and Dover Street. This pick-up takes place at the time stated on the website and on your ticket. We advise that you arrive 10 minutes beforehand.

COVID POLICY

WHAT SHOULD I BRING ALONG FOR THE TRIP?
As weather in the UK can be unpredictable, we advise you to always wear appropriate clothing to anticipate rain and cold weather. Food is not provided on the trips, however you are more than welcome to bring along pack lunches or to purchase refreshments at your destination. Please note that hot food is not permitted on the coach at any time. A face mask is advised.

DAY TRIP CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Please bring your ticket to the office at least one week in advance of the trip taking place if you know that you are unable to go. Please note that ticket money cannot be refunded for trips unless the ticket is resold after we have sold our own tickets. A cancellation charge of £1.00 per ticket is made. Refunds must be collected within 14 days of the trip.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO MONEY CAN BE REFUNDED IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE DAY OF THE TRIP OR ARE LATE AND MISS THE COACH. 

THE SOCIETY AND STAFF CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, OR INJURY SUSTAINED BY PARTICIPANTS ON INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY TRIPS.
