Peak District visiting Buxton and Castleton

The Peak District National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty

Today, you will visit the pretty spa town of Buxton with its Christmas Fair in the beautiful Pavillion Gardens in the centre of town. Then onto Castleton for the second stop of the day, one of the most beautifully lit villages in the Peak District at this time of year particularly the stunningly lit Peveril Castle.  You will also have the chance to visit one of the many caves in the area ... Peak Cavern, well known for having the largest entrance to any cave in Britain and time to spend relaxing in Castleton itself. Father Christmas will be available for a visit too!

THERE ARE TWO PICK-UP POINTS FOR EVERY INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY TRIP
1) The main pick-up point is where Dover Street meets Oxford Road; 2 doors down from the International Society building (see first map below). This pick-up takes place at the time stated on the website and on your ticket.

2) The coach also picks up from The University of Salford's Maxwell building (see second map below). PLEASE NOTE: this pick-up takes place 30 minutes before the time stated on the website and on your ticket.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE DEPARTURE POINT?
Always allow plenty of time to get to the departure point and we recommend that you are there at least 10 minutes before the stated departure time. The coach picks-up from Salford (see above) 30 minutes before the time stated on the website and your ticket.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING ALONG FOR THE TRIP?
As weather in the UK can be unpredictable, we advise you to always wear appropriate clothing to anticipate rain and cold weather. Food is not provided on the trips, however you are more than welcome to bring along pack lunches or to purchase refreshments at your destination. Please note that hot food is not permitted on the coach at any time.

DAY TRIP CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Please bring your ticket to the office at least one week in advance of the trip taking place if you know that you are unable to go. Please note that ticket money cannot be refunded for trips unless the ticket is resold after we have sold our own tickets. A cancellation charge of £1.00 per ticket is made. Refunds must be collected within 14 days of the trip.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO MONEY CAN BE REFUNDED IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE DAY OF THE TRIP OR ARE LATE AND MISS THE COACH.
