Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby
The first stop of the day is the old fishing and smuggling village of Robin Hood’s Bay. With its great views from the top of the village, atmospheric alleyways to explore and a beautiful sweeping bay and beach, there are some fantastic photo opportunities! The afternoon will then be spent in Whitby, an ancient fishing port set on the North Sea, considered to be one of the most interesting and attractive seaside towns on the East coast. There is the opportunity to visit the locations where the author Bram Stoker set his novel “Dracula”, visit the 13th Century Abbey, stroll around the harbour or visit the Captain Cook museum as well as enjoy the fresh air of a day at the seaside and maybe sample the best fish and chips England has to offer!
